Moondance
Spring and its associations with growth, hope and rebirth has inspired artists through the ages. In ancient times we celebrated with festivals and fertility rites such as dancing about the maypole. Here, three ladies whirl around the moon. A tree blooms with orbs and flowers. On the bottom left, young plants push their way to the surface.
